You combine deep technical expertise, supply chain knowledge, operational excellence, and executive‐level customer leadership to guide complex programs from New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) through production readiness, launch, and high‐volume manufacturing.
As the executive owner of your accounts, you build trusted customer relationships while orchestrating cross‐functional execution across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to consistently deliver on quality, cost, schedule, and business objectives.Internally, you drive strategic execution by leading scope definition, stage‐gate reviews, production readiness assessments, and cross‐functional alignment.
You partner closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Quality, Operations, Fulfillment, and Product teams to ensure new capabilities are launched with clear business value, well‐defined risks, measurable ROI, and executable mitigation plans.
As the organization's subject matter expert on manufacturing program execution and operational best practices, you influence decisions across engineering, operations, quality, sourcing, manufacturing, and executive leadership without direct management authority.At the Staff level, your impact extends beyond the programs you lead.
You define standards, establish scalable operating processes, mentor fellow Strategic Program Managers, and shape how Fictiv delivers at scale through technical leadership and sound judgment.
As a force multiplier on the individual contributor track, you elevate organizational capability, strengthen customer partnerships, improve operational scalability, and provide the strategic direction and expertise that others rely on to successfully execute the company's most complex manufacturing programs.Areas of ResponsibilityWhat You Will Be Doing:Own the end‐to‐end customer relationship for Fictiv's most strategic and complex accounts, serving as the primary external point of contact and trusted advisor to drive program success, long‐term partnerships, and account growth.Lead programs across the full product lifecycle—from New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) through production readiness, launch, and scaling—ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer objectives.Drive program scope definition, stage‐gate reviews,
and cross‐functional execution by coordinating Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Product, and Commercial teams, while proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating technical and operational risks.Lead the development and implementation of new operational capabilities by defining business requirements, evaluating ROI and business cases, coordinating cross‐functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution with well‐defined risk mitigation strategies.Serve as the organization's subject matter expert (SME) on strategic program execution and operational best practices, influencing decisions across Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and executive leadership through technical expertise, sound judgment, and credibility.Establish program governance through milestone management, KPI development, executive reporting, and program health metrics that enable data‐driven decision‐making and transparent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.Facilitate executive‐level customer reviews, production readiness assessments, and cross‐functional governance forums to drive alignment on priorities, quality standards, delivery commitments, and strategic objectives.Identify systemic process gaps and lead high‐impact continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance.Mentor and coach Strategic Program Managers and junior program managers as a senior individual contributor by sharing best practices, providing guidance on complex customer engagements, and elevating the overall capability of the program management function.Maintain compliance with Fictiv's Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and operational excellence across the organization.Physical DemandsAbility to travel 25% annually in the region and/or globally to visit customers and manufacturing facilities.Ability to work at a desk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Travel: *****%Desired Traits, Qualifications, Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical discipline, with 12+ years of progressive experience leading complex technical programs across product development, manufacturing, supply chain, or operations, including ownership of strategic, customer‐facing programs from concept through production.Demonstrated expertise leading New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI), APQP, production readiness, manufacturing launch, and production scale‐up in high‐volume and/or high‐mix manufacturing environments.Deep knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes, including CNC Machining, Injection Molding, 3D Printing, Sheet Metal Fabrication,
Die Casting, Assembly, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.Proven success managing executive‐level customer relationships and serving as a trusted advisor on technical, operational, and business matters.Extensive experience leading cross‐functional initiatives across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product, Sales, and Operations, with a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.Strong program and portfolio management expertise, including scope management, stage‐gate governance, risk management, change management, executive reporting, and data‐driven decision‐making.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across executive leadership, customers, suppliers, and globally distributed teams.Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and scalable business processes that improve customer outcomes and organizational performance.Proficiency with program management, ERP, PLM, CRM, quality management, and business intelligence tools used to manage manufacturing operations and strategic programs.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration (MBA).
