Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our healthcare team. The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment while supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout surgical operations.
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory of supplies.





Required Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

- Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Certifications (if any)

- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
