**Purpose**
- The Civil Project Manager's objective encompasses five main areas of accountability.
Safety Leadership, Quality Leadership, Technical Delivery (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Startup), Cost & Schedule, and Client/Stake Holder Management throughout the delivery lifecycle of Projects in Mexico._
**Main Responsibilities**
- _Deliver safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective project delivery of the Business Capital Portfolio in a way that delivers advantaged assets._
- _Serve as the focal point and knowledgeable spokesperson on project delivery engagements working closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations while maintaining the primary interface with EPC Contractor._
- _Ensure that contract construction firm(s) and managers employ world class safety methods while meeting the cost and schedule commitments of the project._
- _Build a project team of internal and external resources that delivers safe, effective and capital efficient design and procurement throughout the project._
- _Implement world-class cost, schedule and forecasting tools to ensure project delivery on-time and within budget._
- _Stakeholder and interface management for overall project.




Deliver regular communication to functional and business stakeholders with content tailored to the audiences' technical skill and interest in detail.
Primary interface for operations and corporate reporting_
- _Has fully accountability of the safety, cost, schedule, communication, scope, risk, quality, and delivery of the project through the team._
- _Utilize and develop a safety and quality culture, leading by example._
- _Manages interfaces and effective communication with mining operations, projects, finance, procurement, legal, vendors and contractors in Mexico._
**Experience and Knowledge requiered**
- Degree in Engineering
- MBA is desirable but not necessary.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable
- _15+ years direct mining experience in capital projects execution in Mexico/USA and related industryLeadership of multiple capital project >$50MEmployment within the mining industry_
- English advanced
