Summary
Responsible to set standards for the design, maintenance, documentation, and upgrades of all networks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain network communication access and provide first level support.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to ensure continuous network performance.
- Oversee daily monitoring and maintenance of network performance, using network management tools to detect, mitigate, and resolve issues proactively.
- Implement and enforce network security measures, such as firewalls, IPS/IDS systems, and access controls, in alignment with company security policies and industry best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures. Prepare and present reports on network performance, incidents, and changes to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network technicians, fostering skill development and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
- Support network‑related projects,



coordinating with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
- Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health, Safety and Quality).
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.

Minimum Requirements
- Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals (e.g. DNS, FTP, SSH, ACL, VLAN, DMZ, BGP), general networking technologies, network architecture and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid network architectures.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and professionally with non‑technical staff.
- Background in project management and experience leading multi‑phase network projects.
- Thoroughly understand VPN Technologies (IPSEC, DMVPN, S2S, L3VPN, VPLS).
