At OMRON Automation Americas, we're looking for a Technical Support Engineer who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to build a long-term career in Industrial Automation.
Whether you're a recent engineering graduate or have early professional experience, this role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while supporting customers across North America and working with industry-leading automation technologies.
What you'll do
- Provide first-level technical support to customers, distributors, and internal teams through phone, chat, email, and Omnichannel support platforms.
- Troubleshoot industrial automation products, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, safety devices, temperature controllers, and other control technologies.
- Diagnose technical issues, document solutions, and escalate complex cases when needed.




- Collaborate with experienced technical specialists while continuously developing your automation knowledge.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvements, technical documentation, and customer experience initiatives.
- Utilize digital tools, remote support platforms, and AI-assisted technologies to deliver efficient technical support.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Controls, Technical Support, Maintenance, Field Service, or similar engineering roles.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, safety devices, industrial control systems, or electrical diagrams through academic projects, internships, or professional experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English and Spanish communication ski
