Execute a critical element in the company’s global export control program as a member of the General Supply Chain Export Control Operations team.
- Act as Team leader for function including Restricted Party Screening, Sanction, and Embargoed Country review of 3rd parties
- Evaluate export control requirements for sales transactions based on end use, end user, and product attributes.
- Communicate export license requirements to Sales and/or Procurement to ensure compliance, confirming completion.
- Documenting export control decisions in Restricted Party Screening application.
- Support continuous improvement through front office/shipper training, internal, and systems development.
- Establish & sustain collaborative relationships with Sales, Customer Care, Procurement, and regulatory compliance stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of current export licensing requirements in key markets and regional export controls, sanctioned, and embargoed parties.
- As needed:
- Export control classification and identification of dual use products.
- Respond to transactional inquiries from internal stakeholders, freight forwarders, customs brokers for products which require additional information to be cleared for export.
- 3 years of experience in a logistics role working with export documents and international shipping procedures
- 3 years of experience leading high performing teams focused on Manufacturing enviroment
- Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Classification, ECCN and USML categories, international trade regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated computer skills: Microsoft Office, Internet databases, web browsing, data entry
- Attention to detail, and diligence, within a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced level of English, mandatory, capable of holding conversations with a high level of complexity and technicalities
