This role offers hands‐on exposure to real‐world product development, working alongside experienced engineers on control systems, power electronics, and user interface hardware from concept through production.This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading US company.What You'll DoDesign analog and digital circuits for microcontroller‐based design applicationsDevelop power supply circuits, motor control systems, and sensor interface electronicsSelect components considering performance, cost, reliability, and supply chain factorsCreate and review schematics, PCB layouts, and bill of materials (BOM)Design for manufacturability, testability, and compliance with regulatory standardsWork closely with firmware engineers during architecture definition and system designProvide hardware specifications, timing diagrams, and interface documentationSupport firmware development through hardware bring‐up and debuggingCollaborate on hardware‐firmware partitioning decisions for optimal system performanceParticipate in code reviews when firmware impacts hardware behaviorDevelop test plans and validation procedures for circuit boards and assembliesConduct design verification testing, including functional, environmental, and stress testingDebug hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipmentPerform EMI/EMC pre‐compliance testing and implement mitigation strategiesSupport safety certification testing (UL, CE, FCC)Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation and specifications, including layouts,



schematics, test plans, manufacturing specifications, and component librariesSupport design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) activitiesCollaborate with contract manufacturers on PCB fabrication and assemblyDevelop and execute manufacturing test procedures and calibration processesConduct root cause analysis for field issues and implement corrective actionsWhat You NeedExperience: 2-4 years of related experienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldTechnical Skills:Expert in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelExperience in analog and digital circuit designExperience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE, LTspice, or similar)Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium (preferred), OrCAD, KiCAD, or similarUnderstanding of power supply design (linear regulators, switching converters)Knowledge of motor control circuitsExperience designing NFC circuits for contactless communication is preferredExperience in component obsolescence management and design lifecycleExperience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, multimetersUnderstanding of EMI/EMC design principles and mitigation techniquesFamiliarity with relevant safety standards (UL, CE, FCC)Strong understanding of mechanical‐electrical integrationExperience designing hardware for small appliances or consumer products is preferredBilingual in English and Spanish is a mustPhysical Demands:Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, with walking and standing required frequentlyVisual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading documents, reports, and emailsRepetitive hand movements for tasks like typing or assemblyAmount of Travel Required: Up to 25% travel requiredSalary & PerksThis is a full‐time, long‐term position with benefits required by law.The position is immediately available.Hybrid in Monterrey, Mexico.Monday through Friday, during regular business hours - (Monterrey Time Zone).
