What awaits you:
· Support audits conducted by foreign trade authorities, tax authorities, the Federal Trade Commission, and customs agencies.
· Verify the correct use of HTS codes for operations, particularly for machinery.
· Maximize potential duty savings in customs operations.
· Manage processes for verifying and determining origin, as well as applying rules of origin for international trade (including Europe, South America, NAFTA, ALADI, CAFTA, and the US Federal Trade Commission).
· Handle customs procedures and compliance, ensure adherence to national and international regulations, and manage local programs such as IMMEX and PROSEC.
· Submit reports demonstrating compliance with applicable import/export regulations.
· Record and maintain data on all import and export operations.
· Determine product export percentages for all clients, calculate VAT liability for goods remaining in Mexico, and prepare the corresponding budget and payment.
What you’ll need to succeed:
· Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade or a related field
· Customs operations and temporary import/export
· Experience in international markets
· International trade, tax payments, tariffs, and VAT
· Experience with an international automotive company
· Experience in a multicultural environment
· Customs compliance
