Parts Room Associate - MX
Maintains stock of MRO spare parts and consumables including: purchasing, inventory accuracy, managing consumption/usage, and appropriate on-hand levels to ensure line uptime.
**Essential Functions**
- Process the registration of new suppliers.
- Direct treatment with national and international suppliers.
- Tracking purchase orders.
- Responsible for material receipts, purchases and guarantees.
- Responsible for maintaining the inventory of spare parts and complying with corporate audits.
- Responsible for maintaining re-order points for plant consumables, spare parts and chemicals.
- Keep the spare part warehouse area organized.
- Keep the chemical storage area organized.
- Comply with the requirements of
- Responsible for making cyclical counts, labeling parts and managing resources.
- Order, maintain and organize spare parts for annual overhauls.
- Responsible for monitoring work orders.
- Monitoring and execution of savings projects in the plant.
- Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
- Communicate any deviation, problem and / or abnormality with the equipment, processes and products.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years - Experience in Position
- 0 Years - Experience managing people/projects

- Travel requirements:
- 5% - on average travels 2 week out of the year
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 4 Years - Experience working in Position
- 2 Years - Experience managing people/projects

**Competencies**
- Experience in purchasing and warehouse management.
- Organization and planning.
- Experience managing control systems.
- Ability to present information and answer questions from the management group.
- Experience in negotiation with suppliers.
