Descripción y detalle de las actividades
This position is responsible for a variety of intermediate level quality
engineering responsibilities.
Uses broad knowledge of quality engineering
discipline, processes and tools in order to complete various project subtasks.
Under
moderate supervision.
Uses advance knowledge of quality systems engineering to perform audits
of customer & aerospace requirements and ensure compliance.
Interacts with internal, external customers and team members in order to
facilitate the completion of tasks.
Ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsible of designated support area.
Act as a supervisor to inspectors and process trainer.
Responsible for executing well-defined project subtasks.
Ensure own work is completed on time and to specifications.
Update or modify working methods in own role based upon defined procedures.
Set objectives and deliver results, working as an owner of internal & Green Belt projects.
Responsible of designated support area, review of nonconforming product, performing RCCAs & follow-up of actions.
Perform audits of internal requirements, customer & aerospace requirements and ensures compliance, performing RCCAs & follow-up of actions.
Responsible of support area KPIs & DPIs, as well as quality/lean improvement projects and internal audit results.
Process & Systems Validations/Effectiveness Checks.
Database Control.
Responsible of supervising and the performance of inspectors.
Control Inspection's WIP & 5s performance.
Follow-up of Inspection's Training & Skill Matrix.
Ensure Quality Global Standards compliance.
Act as a process trainer.
Experiência y requisitos
Essential:
Bachelor degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.




2-4 years of experience in Aerospace industry or a related industry.
Advanced English-spoken & written.
Intermediate-Advanced use of Excel.
Problem Solving Training.
Experience with Nonconformance Management System & Root Cause Analysis.
Knowledge of Zero Defects & APQP/PPAP.
Experience working with Corrective Actions.
Experience working with Internal Audits.
Able to understand customer specifications & drawings.
Leadership skills.
Prioritization & multi-task skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to teach and develop others.
Ability to communicate professionally with team members, staff from other areas and other sites.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving skills.
Teamwork and effective communication.
Experience in the use of measuring instruments and tolerances.
Meet the performance, behavior, and skill requirements of the career plan.
Valid US Visa.
Availability to travel when required.
Desirable:
Experience with Customer Complaints (8D methodology) and External Audits.
Green Belt Certification.
Supervisor experience.
Experience working with NPI.
Advanced knowledge of AS****.
Advanced knowledge of NADCAP Composites.
