Business Support Specialist, IT Operations - Mobile Device Hardware
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components, including processors, memory, displays, cameras, and sensors
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues for a variety of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables)
- Manage mobile device inventory, including procurement, asset tracking, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with software teams to identify and resolve hardware-related performance issues
- Develop and maintain documentation on hardware troubleshooting procedures and best practices
- Provide technical guidance to other IT support staff on mobile device hardware matters
- Evaluate new mobile devices and recommend hardware upgrades or replacements as needed




- Assist in the development and implementation of mobile device policies and security measures
- Coordinate with vendors for device repairs, replacements, and warranty claims
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in mobile device hardware technology
**Requirements**:
- In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components and their functionality
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Mobile Device Management (MDM) certifications are a plus
- Experience with mobile device management platforms (Intune) are a plus
- Familiarity with both iOS and Android operating systems and hardware
- Fluent in English (Verbal and Written)
