Job Description

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will bridge the gap between hardware and high-level applications. You will design, implement, and optimize Board Support Packages (BSPs) and low-level device drivers for complex, multi-microcontroller distributed systems. This role requires deep expertise in real-time constraints, critical safety standards, and robust communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

· Architecture & Design: Develop reusable software components and BSPs for bare-metal and RTOS-based distributed systems.

· Protocol Development: Design custom serial protocols over UART, SPI, IPC, and I2C, alongside real-time Ethernet communications.

· Safety & Compliance: Create traceability matrices adhering to ASPICE and ISO 26262 guidelines; write code matching MISRA standards.

· Testing & Automation: Conduct component testing, debug at bench/HIL levels, and automate unit tests in nightly builds using Python scripting.

· Optimization:



Profile system-level power, CPU, and bus usage to maximize efficiency under low-power modes.

· Collaboration: Coordinate integration sessions, manage vendor code releases, and resolve architectural ambiguity.

Required Profile / Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.

· Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software Development (C/C++).

· Technical Skills:

o Deep knowledge of microcontroller architectures, bare-metal development, and RTOS.

o Strong command of serial protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) and Ethernet communication.

o Proficiency with hardware debuggers, oscilloscopes, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.

o Solid scriptwriting skills in Python for automated testing.

· Standards: Experience working under ISO 26262, ASPICE, or MISRA compliance (Automotive or Aerospace background is a huge plus).

· Soft Skills: Strong capability to handle ambiguity, technical documentation mastery, and collaborative mindset.

· Language: Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
