Director, Growth & Business Intelligence – Mexico & Central America
As a Director, for Architectural Coating business, you will help achieve our growth and profitability by applying data‐driven insights to inform strategic marketing and commercial decisions.
You will oversee market research, developing data models, and guiding teams to implement pricing, promotion, and marketing strategies.
You will report to the AC Business Intelligence Integral Head and will be based in Mexico City.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Profitability Strategy: Drive price realization, promotional strategies, and price sensitivity analysis in close collaboration with Marketing and Finance to maximize revenue and ensure gross profit stability.
Marketing Optimization: Utilize data intelligence and consumer insights to refine omnichannel marketing campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI, brand awareness, and market share increase.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with senior leadership across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and S&T; to integrate data insights into every stage of the business lifecycle.
Data Models & Visualization: Oversee the development and implementation of innovative data models and interactive self‐service dashboards to ensure speed, accuracy, and accessibility in executive decision‐making.
Market Research & Trends: Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor pricing systems to identify future value‐add opportunities and maintain the company's competitive edge.
Operational & Financial Analysis:



Direct business analysis related to cost risk management, inflation, spend, and efficiencies to provide strategic levers that enhance business profitability.
Governance & Integrity: Establish robust data governance frameworks to ensure reliability, data integrity, and resource optimization across all assigned regional initiatives.
Change Management: Drive organizational change plans, including technical/functional training and communication frameworks, to weave data into compelling narratives across the region.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative, innovation‐driven environment for the team; establishing professional development plans and quarterly reviews to unlock their full potential.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Executive‐level proficiency in English (written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across departments).
12+ years of experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, with demonstrated experience applying data and analytics to inform marketing decisions.
