Our Approach.Position SummaryThe Project Controls Intern will support the Project Controls team in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project performance.
This role provides hands-on experience in cost control, scheduling, and project financial reconciliation.
The intern will assist in maintaining accurate project data, ensuring alignment between budgets, forecasts, and presente expenditures,
and supporting timely reporting for decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport cost control activities, including tracking budgets, commitments, and actual expendituresAssist in financial reconciliation of project costs, ensuring consistency between systems and reportsHelp maintain and update project control tools, dashboards, and tracking logsSupport schedule monitoring and progress tracking activitiesAssist in data collection, validation, and consolidation for reporting purposesPrepare routine project reports, including cost reports, variance analyses, and forecastsIdentify discrepancies in project data and support resolution effortsEnsure compliance with internal project control procedures and reporting standardsProvide administrative and analytical support to the Project Controls team as neededQualificationsEducationCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:FinanceBusiness Administrationor a related fieldExperienceNo prior experience required; prior internship or coursework in project management, finance, or data analysis is a plusSkills & CompetenciesBasic understanding of project management and/or project controls principlesStrong analytical and numerical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI) is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
