What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a key contributor on the production floor, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, throughput, and process stability.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and production-related issues
- Investigate downtime, scrap, quality defects, and process bottlenecks
- Lead Root Cause Analysis using methods such as 5 Whys, DMAIC, and Cause & Effect analysis
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes




- Support production teams with real-time problem solving
- Improve manufacturability and repeatability of products and processes
- Train operators and supervisors on process improvements and standard work
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain documentation related to engineering changes and process improvements

What We're Looking For

Required

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Proven experience troubleshooting production equipment and manufacturing processes
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience working directly with operators, technicians, and maintenance teams
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Highly Desired Backgrounds

We are especially interested in engineers from metal-mechanic manufacturing industries, including:

- Wire products manufacturing
- Wire forming operations
- Metal fabrication
- Contract manufacturing
- Appliance manufacturing
- HVAC components manufacturing
- Metal components production

Preferred Technical Experience

- Machining
- Cutting processes
- Bending and forming
- Welding (projection welding is a strong plus)
- Tooling design and process optimization
- Production equipment improvements
- Lean Manufacturing
- Six Sigma methodologies
