AWS Linux Production Infrastructure Puebla, Onsite We are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to operate, understand, secure, and improve an established production environment. This is not a greenfield cloud architecture position. You will work with an existing, businesscritical infrastructure of approximately 70 servers and multiple interconnected systems. Your first responsibility will be to understand how the environment works, reverseengineer undocumented components when necessary, and make safe, wellreasoned changes. What You Will Do Operate and troubleshoot production infrastructure hosted primarily in AWS. Understand existing systems, dependencies, network flows, security controls, and operational processes. Manage services such as EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, load balancers, WAF, VPNs, security groups, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related AWS services. Administer Linux and Windows servers. Investigate incidents methodically and identify root causes. Improve monitoring, documentation, automation, security, reliability, backups, and disasterrecovery readiness. Review infrastructure changes before implementation and avoid unnecessary risk. Use AI tools to accelerate investigation, documentation, scripting, and operational workwithout delegating technical understanding or judgment to AI. Collaborate with software engineers, cybersecurity, QA, and business stakeholders. The Profile We Are Looking For You are naturally curious and do not stop at the first error message. You know how to explore an unfamiliar environment, ask the right questions, form hypotheses, validate evidence, and gradually understand how a system actually works.



You can perform infrastructure work manually before automating it. You use AI as an engineering partner, but you remain responsible for understanding, reviewing, testing, and defending every proposed change. You are comfortable working with inherited infrastructure, incomplete documentation, legacy decisions, and production constraints. This Role Is Not A position focused primarily on designing a new cloud platform from scratch. A Kubernetes, containerplatform, or cloudtrends research role. A role for someone who expects AI to provide commands without understanding the infrastructure. A helpdesk or basic serversupport position. A position where major architectural changes can be introduced without analysis, documentation, testing, and approval. Technical Experience We are especially interested in experience with AWS production environments. Linux administration and troubleshooting. Windows Server and IIS. Networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups. EC2, RDS MySQL or MariaDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, load balancers, and WAF. Infrastructure security, patching, access control, backups, monitoring, and incident response. Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools. GitHub and changereview workflows.
Cloudflare, MongoDB, PCI DSS, cybersecurity, or compliance environments are valuable additions.
