**The Role**
We are currently recruiting for a **KS2 Teaching Assistant** to join a welcoming and supportive **Junior School in Derby starting in Septmeber ****.**
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support where needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities




- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources
- Providing pastoral support to help pupils develop both academically and socially
**About You**
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Has a passion for supporting KS2 learners
- Is reliable, proactive, and adaptable
- Builds strong relationships with staff and pupils
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) - desirable but not essential
