**Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** to assume ownership of financial data and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all accounting operations.
This role is responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, producing accurate financial statements, and maintaining strict adherence to **U.S. GAAP** and regulatory standards.
**Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Accounting & Financial Reporting**
- Execute the complete accounting cycle and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Ensure financial records serve as a reliable and consistent source of truth for leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain clean, well-structured financial documentation for internal and external review.
**Data Integrity & Reconciliations**
- Consolidate, clean, and organize large datasets to ensure data accuracy across all reports.
- Manage complex bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations with zero discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve variances in a timely and effective manner.
**Internal Controls & Risk Management**
- Design, implement, and enforce strong internal controls to prevent errors, mitigate risk, and safeguard assets.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with best accounting practices.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
**Tax & External Partner Coordination**
- Lead U.S. tax preparation processes and ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors.




- Support audits and financial reviews with accurate data and documentation.
**Treasury & Financial Analysis**
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Provide insights and reporting to support informed decision-making by leadership.
**Team Oversight & Quality Assurance**
- Review and validate the work of accounting and bookkeeping staff to ensure high levels of accuracy.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all accounting outputs.
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- At least **2 years of experience** in a senior accounting or similar role.
- Expert knowledge of **U.S. GAAP**.
- Strong proficiency in **Excel** and accounting automation tools.
- Experience working with **ERP systems** such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong typing and computer proficiency.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
