**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are hiring an Underwriting Analyst to support our business funding operations.
You will organize and analyze files, verify documentation, review borrower financial signals, and prepare cases for underwriting decisions.
This role is detail heavy, standards driven, and critical to keeping decisions fast and accurate.
You will work closely with Funding Intake, Sales, and Senior Underwriters to move files through the pipeline with disciplined execution.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Verify documentation and resolve missing items through internal coordination
- Review borrower information and supporting documents
- Bank statements financial statements and credit information
- Analyze borrower financial signals and risk indicators
- Cash flow patterns revenue consistency and obligations
- High level ratios and repayment ability indicators
- Prepare clear file summaries and next step recommendations
- Maintain fact based neutral status updates and set expectations without promises
- Coordinate underwriting handoff and reconnection standards when required
- Confirm preferred contact method and time windows as needed
- Document every step cleanly in CRM and internal systems
- Maintain fast turnaround standards while protecting quality and compliance
**TOOLS AND SOFTWARE YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH**
- CRM systems HubSpot Salesforce Zoho or similar




- Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Filters sorting formulas basic level
- PDF review and document organization
- Google Drive or similar file storage
- Slack or similar team communication tools
**KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD HAVE**
- Document review and validation practices
- Business funding underwriting support fundamentals
- Risk evaluation mindset and checklist discipline
- Cash flow and business financial basics
- Comfort reading bank statements and identifying patterns
- Confidentiality and compliance standards
- Strong written documentation and note taking habits
