**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Be the Global Warranty Improvement Leader for Americas, Fuel Delivery Modules, Canisters, Starters and Alternators.
Jointly with production sites, engineering teams and management, ensure continuous improvement of the warranty performance of PHINIA products.
Ensure optimized warranty risks and financial exposures in commercial contracts.
Support plants with Warranty crisis management, look across and lessons learnt.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Quality support to Warranty issues with FDM, Canisters, Starters and Alternators products: Support Field Quality crisis with data and problem solving,
- Improve overall Field Quality performance by facilitating communication and interpretation of Warranty KPIs (IPTV, IBNR) in correlation with gate charts and part analysis results.
Structured escalation to problem solving groups.
facilitate lessons learnt and look across.
- Warranty Terms and Conditions:



Jointly with sales and business pursuit teams, review and support Warranty Terms and Conditions negotiations with Customers.
Evaluate impact and calculate associated financial Warranty risks.
Participate in establishing commercial offers, taking into account induced warranty costs in the selling price of our products.
Support the determination of the most appropriate IBNR front loading at SOP to balance impact of unexpected warranty events.
Support recovery process with Insurance companies when applicable
**What we're looking for**:
- 5-years degree in Mechanical engineering or related field; graduate degree preferred
- 7 plus years Engineering or Manufacturing experience (automotive environment desired)
- Proven negotiation skills, including strategy and tactics
- Great communication and presentation skills, with sensitivity to cultural differences
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications (electronics datasheets, blueprints, etc.)
- Ability to travel globally (up to 20% if / as needed)
- Fluent in English
- Additional languages, culture and international experiences are desired
