The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for an Automation Senior Consultant with significant experience in Infrastructure to join us in Mexico City.
You will participate in customer enterprise development by helping make our solutions both practical and workable for customer businesses.
You'll lead the on-site or remote implementation of Red Hat's technologies.
As an Automation Senior Consultant, you will work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations that will lead to the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.
What you will do:
- Provide guidance to consultants with less experience in order to achieve set goals- Help with the implementation of different projects on the scope- Address the infrastructure and Cloud platforms according to customer needs.
- Develop effective and efficient solutions that provide desired performance- Coordinate the workflow among Cloud teams, users, and yourself- Analyze and fix existing code base to address new requirements- In this role, you will participate in the customer enterprise development by helping make our solutions both practical and workable for customer businesses.
- You'll lead the on-site implementation of Red Hat's technologies.
- Experiences in Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Openshift and other platforms.
- You'll work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations that will lead to the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.

- Collaborate with other support engineers and other internal teams and external parties during the problem resolution process.
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills and passion for problem solving and investigation
What you will bring:
5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Infrastructure consultant- 3+ years of experience in Ansible Automation Platform.
Develop playbooks for automation tasks.
- Experience working as a support or development engineer for a Platform-as-a-Service provider or hosting service- 5+ years of experience working with Linux or Unix operating systems and others.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift configuration, implementation, and support.
- Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Networking- Experience with software containers and with implementing software containers- English proficiency; upper intermediate-advanced verbal, written, and reading- Ability to work in a high-performance and dynamic environment
