**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.
ERP Integration & Customization**:
- Integrate and customize ERP systems (**Microsoft Dynamics preferred**, SAP or Oracle experience also valued).
- Extract and structure ERP data for external use, including inventory, pricing, manufacturing timelines, and customer data.
- Build and maintain scheduled data exports to external systems using **APIs, batch jobs, or ETL pipelines**.

Data Transformation & Automation**:
- Write and maintain **import scripts** that convert raw ERP data into web-ready formats.
- Implement and manage data **validation, transformation, and mapping** logic.
- Use **VBScript** and similar scripting tools to support automation and processing workflows.
**3.
Database & SQL Development**:
- Design and optimize complex **SQL Server** objects: stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
- Implement business rules in SQL for scenarios like **kit item logic**, **tiered pricing**, and **inventory constraints**.
- Navigate and make sense of legacy or undocumented database schemas.
**4.
Infrastructure & System Reliability**:
- Manage infrastructure components including **Windows Server**, **IIS**, **network shares**, and **Active Directory**.




- Ensure system reliability through ongoing **maintenance**, **monitoring**, and **performance tuning**.
**5.
Middleware & API Development**:
- Build and maintain **internal APIs** or **microservices** to bridge ERP, CMS, and front-end platforms.
- Create **RESTful services**, **scheduled jobs** (e.g., cron, Azure Functions), or **message queues** to streamline integrations.
**6.
Technical Problem Solving in Legacy Systems**:
- Analyze and refactor **undocumented or legacy codebases** to improve maintainability and performance.
- Balance short-term patches with long-term system improvements in a structured and scalable manner.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- **7+ years** of experience in enterprise software development or systems integration
- Strong experience with **ERP systems** (Microsoft Dynamics highly preferred)
- Proficiency in **VBScript**, **SQL Server**, and scripting for automation
- Experience building and integrating **RESTful APIs** and working with **IIS** and **Windows environments**
- Strong analytical and debugging skills in complex, multi-system environments
- Experience in designing or maintaining **ETL pipelines** and **data workflows**
**Preferred (Nice to Have)**:
- Familiarity with **Azure Functions**, **message queueing systems**, or **event-driven architectures**
- Exposure to **CMS platforms** and e-commerce systems
- Understanding of DevOps tools or practices related to CI/CD and infrastructure as code
