Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Automation Senior Project Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Site.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develops and implements automation engineering strategy to drive innovation and efficiency in the metal fabrication processes.
- Responsible for the delivery of new process equipment and automation and innovative solutions, qualification and ramp up.
- Leads the automation engineering technical teams in their delivery of new and improved systems, methods, driving governance, development, and structured execution of our factory automation and control systems aligned to strategic initiatives, efficiency and cost optimized improvement, solutions
- Drives Integral Automation Scorecard Assessments at all Mech sites




- Ensures continuous monitoring and execution to Automation savings
- Monthly Global Automation Projects reporting updates
- Automated deployment across all Mech sites
- Manages Automation Insights data and reporting accuracy with Corporate AME team
- CAPEX Investment roadmap for innovation & Automation
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BS degree in Engineering electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, Automation or similar
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Experience in project management, specifically in automation or related engineering fields.
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, systems, and software (e.g., PLC, SCADA, robotics).
- Proven experience in managing complex projects in a global environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.
