Summary:
Performs a variety of tasks associated with the final reclamation of reclaimed land as well as special projects throughout the mine.
Starting entry level wage $*****/hour.
Job Description:
Essential Duties:
- Operates and maintains a variety of agriculture equipment such as loaders, tractors, skid steers, chisel plow, disk, mulcher, rock picker, seeder, etc.
- Conducts a pre-operational safety check (walk around) of equipment.
- Performs final reclamation duties of reclaimed land including cultivating, rock picking, seeding, mulching, and crimping.
- Installs erosion control and stabilization products including concrete mats, rock riprap, erosion fabrics, silt fences, etc.
- Performs a variety of maintenance tasks including mowing and weed spraying.
- Constructs, maintains, and removes agricultural fences.
- Coordinates with other equipment in work areas.
- Operates a dredge to assist with pond cleanout projects.




- Performs job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established company safety procedures and State and Federal environmental regulations.
Other Duties:
- Service equipment and perform routine repairs.
- Supports other departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be knowledgeable concerning ground conditions and a good understanding of agriculture equipment and practices.
Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
Education, Training and Experience:
On-the-job experience.
Commercial pesticide certification preferred.
