**Responsibilities**:
What you will do?
You will lead security operations, fire protection, technology, investigations, intelligence (or a combination) needs for country or regional operations by developing excellent relationships with local security and other business unit leaders.
Manage and develop Global Security Operations' team members within the country.
Consult with local stakeholders to ensure security program satisfaction related to delivery and cost.
Promote the implementation of corporate security policies within the assigned country or region.
Manage the implementation of processes and tools to identify risk and implement protective measures to reduce identified risks.
Initiate continuous improvement activities to ensure quality and cost-effective security and fire services.
Support the General Security Investigations staff with security investigations on an as-needed basis.
Ensure implementation and execution of local emergency response plans through support for the Emergency Response Coordinating Teams.
Support the development and implementation of country crisis management plans, as needed.
Support the implement the security quality processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards.
Support the development of standards and best practices.
Inform your leader, regarding security and fire-related incidents and activities.
Establish and maintain liaison with federal, provincial/state and local law enforcement agencies, as appropriate.

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree: S ecurity, Fire protection and Safety, Criminal Justice, Business Administration,.
Required experience in similar position: from 5 to 7 years.
English Level: Advanced.
Ability to travel to assigned sites on a regular basis/as needed.

- Develop excellent working relationships and strategic partnerships with local business unit leaders, security provider management and Global Security team members.

Participate in meetings and committees as required.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and senior leadership to keep them informed of activities and ensure they are satisfied with security service delivery and cost.
- Provide direction and oversight to site security leaders at assigned GM sites.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, standards and guidelines.
- Provide policy interpretation and remove roadblocks, where applicable.
- Implement common global processes and best practices.
- Support completion of site security vulnerability assessments and ensure appropriate communication to leadership to support compliance and risk reduction.
- Conduct security and fire related risk assessments and implement protective measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Oversee the security budget spend and identify opportunities for structural cost reductions.
- Maintain and report regularly on cost and compliance metrics.
- Support completion of security/fire/technology projects, repairs and inspections.
- Provide oversight and ensure proper function of security technology systems including security surveillance, communication, access control and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure effective implementation and testing of local Emergency Response Plans through support of the local Emergency Response Coordinating Teams.
- Participate in procurement of security services to verify local business requirements are met.
- Demonstrate security contract knowledge and ensure compliance with the service level agreement and contract requirements.
- Communicate daily with security provider regarding activities, special events, significant incidents, customer requests, new initiatives, service level performance, etc.
- Provide quality assurance for purchased security/fire/technology services and recommendations for enhancements.
- Initiate continuous improvement plans to ensure quality and cost-effective security and fire services.
- Ensure adequate security staffing is in place to mitigate risk and comply with minimum GM requirements.
Maintain updated security contract exhibits.
- Perform special assignments, as needed.
- Conduct after action reviews following significant incidents, identify incident trends and ensure appropriate corrective action is communicated and completed.
- Ensure all incidents are reported, documented, and communicated in accordance with procedures.
- Partner with GM Investigations groups to ensure awareness of incidents and timely follow up.
This position requires to have a driving license due to regular responsibilities and role.
- This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
