The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements.
General Responsibilities
- Conducts regular audits of inventory to verify accuracy of records identifying discrepancies or variances.
- Implements inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinates with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely receipt and processing of incoming inventory shipments.
- Performs cycle counts and physical inventory counts to reconcile inventory records and identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and collaboration with relevant departments.
- Maintains accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and movements in the inventory management system.
- Generates reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and inventory performance metrics to support decision-making and planning.
- Participates in inventory-related projects and initiatives to improve inventory management processes and systems.




Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
