This position is responsible for resolution of discrepant carrier invoices, building shipments, updating shipment attributes, communicating internally and/or externally with Operations, Carrier Pricing, Procurement, Helpdesk, and potentially shipper/receiver facilities.
This role will analyze the root cause of invoice discrepancies and work with the appropriate party(s) to escalate the issues as needed for final resolution.
The successful candidate must display superior communication skills (consistent, professional, effective, prompt, and courteous).
What the Candidate Will DoResolve carrier invoice discrepancies, using Uber Freight guidelines, customer business rules, carrier rate agreements, etc.Create shipments for non-managed freight based on predefined customer specific requirementsKnow and understand account specific requirements -requiredcharges, customer business rules, carrier contracts,



etc.Provide support to Operations as neededin regards toFinancialissues related to their accountDeliver cost saving/cost containment to the customer and/or Uber FreightCorrespond internally with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricingregardingrating and accessorial invoice discrepancies as neededMaintain up-to-date customer business rules,policiesand procedures.Use of JIRA to file tickets ofidentifiedissues surrounding invoice resolutionSetup new customer and vendor locations in the TMS,leveragingknowledge of customer business practicesPerforms other related duties as assignedBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 1+ years of AP or AR experienceBasic competency in Excel (e.G., spreadsheets, formulas, formatting)Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Intermediate to Advance proficiency requiredPreferred Qualifications1+ years of Accounts Payable (or related field) in the Transportation industryProficient in all Microsoft Office suite of products and Google toolsIn-depth knowledge of Uber Freight TMS and TMS Financials systems#J-*****-Ljbffr
