Support design reviews and releases as needed.ResponsibilitiesProduct Design Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and release of steering products.Develop customer / program specific steering products following design guidelines of Bosch AS where applicable and creating new designs as needed to meet customer requirements.Support design reviews and releases as needed.Develop technical designs with CAD (2D & 3D).
Estimate tolerances, capable to create, interpret, apply and check GD&T.Support; Continuous improvements and cost reduction activities.Create BOM (Bill of materials).
Administrate engineering changes using tools such as DRBFM and DFMEA.Packaging design.Create and support technical standards/ specifications.Coordination with OEMs and AS Cross-functional Teams.Obtain OEM approval of Bosch AS manufacturing deviations as needed.Comply with TS***** and other AS policies and procedures.QualificationsEducation: BS Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.Working Experience: Preferable 1-2 years in similar rolesSoft Skills: Creative, proactive, analytic, leadership and good negotiation skills, teamwork and good communication skills.
