About the Role:
The Accounts Payable Intern will support the finance team in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general accounting tasks.
This role provides hands-on experience in financial operations, vendor payments, and compliance, making it ideal for students or recent graduates looking to develop their skills in accounts payable and corporate finance.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Support the verification and reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and financial reporting tools.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop accounting and financial skills in a professional environment.
