In this position, you will be responsible for developing a carrier base capable of moving freight in and out of Mexico through key border cities along the Mexico and US border.
The initial scope will focus on carriers with through trailer capabilities, expanding to Mexican domiciled carriers as capabilities are developed.
This will be the first employee solely responsible for Mexico capacity, and as a result will be leaned on heavily to help the organization understand rates, capacity and processes with Mexico servicing carriers.ESSENTIAL DUTIESBuild and foster relationships with Mexico servicing carriers domiciled in the US.Negotiate rates with carriers,



focusing on lanes in and out of Mexico and border cities.Follow the EASE Logistics process to identify and solve issues quickly and efficiently.Proactively manage workday tasks by answering phone calls and assisting with consistent communication with carriers/account managers.Collaborate with the Mexico Operations Manager to ensure smooth paperwork processes for cross border shipmentsConsistent feedback on market conditions for Account Managers and LeadershipHold carriers accountable for established KPI's.Use carrier scorecards to manage and monitor carrier performance.Manage carrier lead generation toolsCollaborate with carriers and internal teams on continual improvement initiativesAssist in inbound/outbound phone calls and emails.Other duties as assigned.PROFESSIONALMaintain a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of EASE Logistics and demonstrate a commitment to high professional ethical standards.Problem solve efficiently and using resources available to find the best outcome for EASE, our customers and carriers.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by remaining flexible and handling change with ease.Set expectations/lead by example in all aspects.Demonstrate efficient time management skills by being punctual and reliable.Display effective communication skills for both verbal and written correspondence, ensuring all communication is respectful, professional, and polite.Ensure communication and attire are of a professional manner.TRAVELThis position will require travel to the United States.




Candidate must be able to travel for training and customer engagements.QUALIFICATIONSEducationA bachelor's degree is requiredQualifications2 years of experiencie in a similar position.
.Experience with cross-border movements, or carrier sales a plusStrong English and Spanish skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.Additional related training and certifications will be weighted on a case-by-case basis.Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment by remaining flexible and handling change with ease.Demonstrate efficient time management skills by being punctual and reliable.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesCompetitive, self-motivated and results driven.Energetic, relentless, and thrives on hunting for opportunities.Excellent communicator with a great phone presence.A strong work ethic is essential.
