JOB SCOPE
Co-ordinates and performs complex quality activities both in plant manufacturing areas and their supporting functions to ensure product, process and system robustness which meets internal and external customer requirements.
Supports control of the Quality Management System, Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, APQP or other applicable standards such as customer specific requirements.
Assists in facilitating change throughout the organization, and in establishing quality policies and procedures at all levels that will ensure that quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Major Responsibilities

Supervises quality and test personnel including support during recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and work schedules.
Supports development and maintenance of Quality Management System.
Ensures implementation of changes related to IATF requirements and maintenance of the Document Control System for the site.
Supports HSE protocols and ensures these are in place and followed.
Reports the quality metrices, monitors performance and shares with the operations team.
Ensures maintaining the highest possible standard.
Supports during monitoring of internal and external customer satisfaction, recommends areas of improvement e.g. APQP, Quality, Cost, Delivery etc. and leads the efforts to resolve quality and process variability problems.
Supports and monitors supplier performance at plant level,



recommends areas of improvement e.g. quality, cost, delivery etc. and leads the efforts to resolve quality and process variability problems, thus enabling the Quality and Purchasing team to ensure continuous Supplier development and high level of performance.
Develops and implements effective processes to identify issues, assign resources, and drive permanent corrective actions of all product/process issues, including those that occur internally, at customer locations, and in the field.
Supports improving profitability of organization by designing and processing for quality and minimizing the past practice of inspecting for quality.
Supports developing and maintaining a warranty reduction process including the analysis of field returns as well as database, for the rapid response to issue, and minimization of financial impact to organization.
Drives lessons learned back to other functional areas.
Ensures conformity to product requirements and has authority to stop and start shipment and stop and start production to correct quality problems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree
Min. 5 years experience
Fluent English language skills
Good Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO****, IATF*****
Working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, quality inspection methods, quality control techniques, and quality analysis software preferred.
IATF qualified Auditor First party (internal audits) preferred
IATF qualified Auditor Second party (supplier audits) preferred
Experience in automotive industry
First experience in supervising employees
