Responsible for planning and executing the procurement of materials, components, and services necessary to meet production needs and customer requirements.
This role involves managing the supply chain, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency and company profitability.
**Demand Planning**: Analyze material requirements based on sales forecasts, production orders, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability.
**Purchasing Management**: Procure raw materials, components, and services, ensuring they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery standards.
**Supplier Selection and Evaluation**: Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to ensure favorable terms and a reliable supply chain.
**Inventory Control**: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, implementing strategies to minimize storage costs and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
**Logistics Coordination**: Manage import and export logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery of materials.
**Cost Analysis**: Evaluate and analyze costs associated with the procurement of materials and services, seeking opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
**ERP System Data Management**:



Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the company's ERP system, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier data.
Experiência y requisitos
**Education**: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
**Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and purchasing roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
**Technical Skills**: Knowledge of purchasing processes, demand planning, and logistics.
Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and ERP systems.
**Soft Skills**: Strong negotiation abilities, analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and a team-oriented approach.
**Languages**: Fluent English
