Job Summary
Responsibilities
Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems to ensure optimal performance.
Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other IT teams to implement solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience.
Develop and maintain documentation for desktop support processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement to optimize operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all desktop support activities.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage hardware and software procurement and inventory.
Implement security measures to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.
Drive initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and productivity through innovative support practices.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in desktop support with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues with a focus on desktop systems.
Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and system management principles.
Show experience in leading and mentoring a team to achieve high performance and service standards.
Display knowledge of security protocols and best practices to safeguard company data.
Demonstrate good experience with Asset Lifecycle activities.
Have 2 -3 years of experience using SCCM, Intune, Autopilot.
