We are looking for Systems Requirements Engineer MED:
Intermediate System Requirements Engineer – Infotainment Subsystem
Acts as the key liaison between Design & Release Engineers (DREs) and System Architects, ensuring that technical and regulatory needs are translated into clear, specific, and actionable requirements for the design, development, validation, and release of vehicle electrical and electronic components.
Utilizes Requirements Engineering methodologies to elicit, analyze, document, and maintain system requirements. Experienced in specialized tools such as IBM DOORS for requirements management, IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC) for workflow control, and JIRA for issue tracking.
Collaborates closely in system design and development, actively participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Applies analytical methods such as DFMEA to ensure the quality and reliability of the infotainment system, including the integration of advanced technologies such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Activities
1.
Requirements Definition & Management
Write, update, and maintain technical requirements for the Infotainment subsystem (and Cabin Thermal & Safety, as applicable) throughout production phases. Conduct requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews and workshops. Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management and traceability. 2.
Systems
Analysis & Design
Perform system requirements analysis using established engineering methodologies. Collaborate in the design and development of infotainment hardware and software systems. Support system modeling and architecture activities. 3.
Technical
Coordination & Liaison
Act as the key link between Design & Release Engineers (DREs) and System Architects. Work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure correct hardware–software integration.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and software system failures. Apply diagnostic tools to detect and address technical issues. 5.
Project
Tracking & Workflow Control
Use IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC) and JIRA to manage workflows, tasks, and issue tracking. Contribute to the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for infotainment components. 6.
Quality
Assurance & Risk Analysis
Conduct thorough testing to validate system functionality and reliability. Perform DFMEA to identify and mitigate potential design risks. 7.
Technical
Documentation
Create and maintain detailed records of diagnosed issues, implemented solutions, and established requirements. Prepare and update technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
University Degree (Bachelor’s or Engineering) in related fields such as: Mechatronics Engineering,
Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering
Requirements Engineering: Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience in definition, management, and elicitation of requirements).
Requirements Management with IBM DOORS: Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience).
Workflow
Control with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC): Intermediate level (2–3 years of experience).
Issue Tracking with JIRA: Intermediate level (2–3 years of experience).
Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC): Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience). Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (HW/SW): Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience).
Systems Engineering Methodologies: Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience).
Vehicle Communication
Protocols (CAN, LIN): Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience).
Embedded Systems Knowledge: Intermediate level (3–5 years of experience).
DFMEA Analysis: Basic to Intermediate level (1–5 years of experience).
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS): Basic to Intermediate level (1–3 years of experience). CATIA V5: Basic level (1–3 years of experience in model visualization or review).
Knowledge of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto: Intermediate level (2–5 years of experience in integration or validation).
Programming
Languages (Python, C/C++): Basic level (1–3 years of experience for scripting or automation).
Knowledge of Vehicle Safety Regulations: Basic level (1–3 years of experience). Competitive salary
