Join an innovative berry breeding program focused on developing the next generation of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry varieties.

We are looking for an agricultural professional with experience in plant breeding, genetics or crop improvement who is passionate about research, field trials and varietal development.

This position will support breeding activities from crossing design and field evaluations to data analysis and selection of elite breeding materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute breeding plans for strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry.
- Design and perform controlled crosses.
- Evaluate breeding populations under field conditions.
- Collect, analyze and interpret agronomic and phenotypic data.
- Characterize promising selections based on productivity, fruit quality, firmness, flavor and disease tolerance.




- Collaborate with R&D;, Development and Nursery teams.
- Support variety registration and technical documentation.
- Monitor breeding trials and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate seasonal breeding activities.

Requirements

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture, Genetics, Biotechnology or related field.
- Experience in plant breeding, genetics, crop improvement or breeding programs.
- Experience with berries is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Field research experience.
- Advanced English.
- Availability to travel when required.
