Role Description Associate Director - AI Architecture The Associate Director - AI Architecture is responsible for defining and executing the organization's enterprise AI architecture strategy, enabling the adoption of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI solutions at scale. This role provides technical leadership in designing secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade AI platforms while ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, and technology roadmaps.



The role involves leading the architecture and implementation of AI-driven solutions such as Generative AI applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, intelligent document processing, conversational AI, predictive analytics, and recommendation systems. The Associate Director collaborates closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, engineering, data science, product teams, and technology partners to deliver innovative AI solutions that drive measurable business value. Additionally, the role is responsible for establishing AI architecture standards, governance frameworks, MLOps/LLMOps best practices, and mentoring AI architects and engineering teams while driving innovation through emerging AI technologies and enterprise AI platforms.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 12-18 years of overall IT experience, including 5 years in AI/ML or Generative AI architecture.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale AI transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in Enterprise AI Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Distributed Systems, and Enterprise Integration.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI platforms on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Enterprise AI Solution Design.
- Experience with Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, AI Orchestration Frameworks, and AI Agents.
- Experience implementing AI Governance, Responsible AI, Security, Privacy, and Compliance frameworks.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, mentoring technical professionals, and engaging executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication, consulting, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
