The focus of this role is to be part of a team of SoC design engineers to design and implement new and existing features for Intel's next generation SoCs adopting new design methodologies. You will be responsible of exploring and implementing new design methodologies that make use of AI engines and modern hardware description languages.
Responsibilities
- IP to SoC integration
- Develop automation scripts
- Performing and debugging digital simulations, and driving to closure of bugs
- Working closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to implement efficient design methodologies
- Deliver high-quality output against deadlines and work effectively in a cross-site team environment

Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Master’s or PhD’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering,
Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation
- Four months of experience in:
- Digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architecture
- At least one programming/scripting language such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Unix (Linux)
- Hardware description languages such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog
- Basic skills pertaining to pre-Si validation, e.g., logic simulators (Xilinx, Quartus, Modelsim, VCS)
- Debug capabilities
- Advanced English level
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico; this role does not accept visa or immigration sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic testbench development and test scenario writing, functional coverage concepts and implementation
Additional Requirements

Work Model
This role is eligible for a hybrid work model, allowing employees to split their time between working on-site at the assigned Intel site and off-site.
