job summary

what a typical day looks like:

- manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
- oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate koi.
- supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
- coordinate with other departments and other flex sites to drive for excellence.
- coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
- ensure iso and safety standards are adhered to.
- report to senior management team in weekly operations reviews.
- coach and mentor operations team.
- leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
- implement appropriate hr strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
- provide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort
- provide product training to the manufacturing/process engineers for better understanding of the product.

the experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- completed education.
- experience as a production superintendent.




- knowledge of 5s methodology.
- knowledge of microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, etc.).
- knowledge of 4q (excel).
- knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
- experience with smt, backend, and box build processes.
- follow-up on work order closures.
- english: intermediate
- experience supervising direct personnel and engineering teams (cfts).
- availability to work adaptable schedules
