Position Overview The Executive Board Member serves as a founding leader of the CICC Latin America Chambers of Commerce Establishment Program. This is a voluntary governance position designed for entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, and institutional representatives committed to strengthening regional and international economic cooperation.
Board members will contribute to the strategic establishment, governance, and expansion of the CICC Latin America Chambers of Commerce throughout Latin America during the 2026–2027 establishment period.
First Executive Board Meeting
Date: 01 October 2026
The inaugural Executive Board Meeting will officially launch the establishment process and include:
- Election of the President.
- Election of the Board Chair.
- Appointment of the Vice Presidents.
- Appointment of the Secretary General.
- Appointment of the Treasurer.
- Appointment of committee chairs and other principal executive positions.
- Approval of the establishment roadmap and governance framework.
- Adoption of the strategic action plan for 2026–2027.
Establishment Program (2026–2027)
- The establishment process will continue throughout 2027 , covering all Latin American states.
- During 2026 , one Chamber will be officially registered as the Main Headquarters (MHQ) for the region.
- Additional national Chambers and Regional Headquarters will be developed progressively across Latin America in accordance with the CICC Constitution and approved expansion strategy.
Membership & Board Participation
- Executive Board Members serve on a voluntary, non-remunerated basis .
- No salary, honorarium,
financial compensation, or employment benefits are provided for this position.
- As a founding recognition, Executive Board Members appointed during the establishment phase will receive complimentary Board Membership for the first year .
- Following the first year, continued Board membership and seat renewal will be subject to the Board Seat Contribution and other requirements established under the CICC Constitution, Bylaws, and Board policies .
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Executive Board meetings and strategic decision-making.
- Support the establishment and development of CICC Chambers throughout Latin America.
- Promote entrepreneurship, trade, investment, innovation, and international cooperation.
- Build partnerships with public institutions, private sector organizations, chambers of commerce, and international stakeholders.
- Contribute to governance, policy development, and organizational growth.
- Represent CICC at official meetings, conferences, and international events.
- Support fundraising, membership growth, and institutional sustainability.
- Uphold the principles, Constitution, ethical standards, and mission of CICC.

Term of Appointment
- Appointments are made in accordance with the CICC Constitution and remain subject to Board approval, governance requirements, and organizational performance throughout the establishment period.
