Responsibilities:
Program and Customer Support
Support the execution of automotive programs in alignment with program milestones, customer expectations, and business objectives.
Contribute to risk assessment, mitigation planning, escalation processes, and overall program coordination as part of the Program Core Team.
Coordinate with customers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve technical, commercial, quality, and timing-related issues.
Participate in engineering change management activities, including feasibility reviews and impact analysis related to cost, timing, tooling, pricing, and implementation.
Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, contractual obligations, and internal processes.
Sales and Business Development Support
Serve as the technical and commercial interface with customers, supporting meetings, negotiations, program reviews,
and day-to-day communication with Purchasing, Engineering, and Program teams.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth and collaboration.
Support preparation of RFQs, commercial offers, pricing strategies, costing analysis, and commercial documentation.
Assist with contract management activities including repricing, recoveries, ECRs, negotiation preparation, and serial life commercial management.
Support monitoring of program profitability through cost analysis, variable cost margin tracking, productivity initiatives, P&L; inputs, and cash flow-related activities.
Contribute to business development activities through evaluation of new opportunities, targeted acquisitions, and commercial feasibility assessments.
Support management of local economic impacts such as inflation, exchange rates, and other market conditions affecting program profitability.
Commercial Administration and Cross-Functional Coordination
Support sales administration activities including purchase orders, invoicing coordination, payment terms, overdue and claim management.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and purchasing teams to ensure alignment, timely execution, and achievement of program objectives.
Use business plans,
commercial assumptions, and financial data to support profitability targets and overall program performance.
Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, commercial processes, and program execution effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a sales engineering, program engineering, or customer-facing technical role.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Strong understanding of automotive product development and program lifecycle concepts.
Ability to work cross-functionally and interface professionally with customers.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Experience supporting RFQs, commercial offers, or customer negotiations.
Familiarity with cost structures, financial tracking, or engineering change processes.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
