Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of DP Gayatri Mexico.

This role is responsible for coordinating purchasing, supplier relationships, outsourced manufacturing, production planning, logistics, inventory, and administrative operations while working closely with our engineering and operations teams in both Mexico and the United States.

The successful candidate will support customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners across North America while helping build scalable operational processes as our business continues to grow.

This is not simply an administrative position. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, building supplier relationships, and helping scale a growing manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Purchasing

- Source electrical components, wire, connectors, terminals, and manufacturing materials
- Obtain supplier quotations and negotiate pricing
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Build and maintain supplier relationships throughout Mexico
- Identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery

Operations Coordination

- Coordinate production schedules with outsourced manufacturing partners




- Monitor production status and delivery commitments
- Support production planning and scheduling
- Verify work instructions, Bills of Material (BOMs), and engineering documentation are current
- Coordinate first article builds and engineering changes

Logistics & Inventory

- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Work with customs brokers and freight providers
- Prepare import/export and shipping documentation
- Track inbound and outbound shipmentsMaintain inventory accuracy
- Support material planning and inventory replenishment

Customer & Cross-Border Coordination

- Support customer requirements for both Mexico and U.S. customers
- Coordinate priorities between customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams
- Communicate production status, material availability, and shipment updates
- Support sourcing requests, quotations, and new manufacturing opportunities
- Help resolve supply chain, quality, and delivery issues

Quality Support

- Coordinate incoming and outgoing inspections
- Verify workmanship meets customer quality expectations
- Support supplier corrective actions
- Maintain quality and production documentation

Administration

- Update ERP and inventory records
- Maintain purchasing and supplier documentation
- Prepare operational reports
- Coordinate communication between suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Support daily business operations

Business Development Support

- Visit suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Attend local manufacturing and industry events
- Help identify potential suppliers, manufacturing partners, and business opportunities
- Represent DP Gayatri Mexico professionally within the manufacturing community

Qualifications

Required





- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, operations, production planning, or production coordination
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, and inventory management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

- Experience in electronics manufacturing, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, industrial automation, contract manufacturing (EMS), or electrical manufacturing
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems
- Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs), engineering drawings, engineering change processes, and manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of import/export logistics, customs processes, and cross-border supply chains
- Experience supporting customers, suppliers, or manufacturing operations across Mexico and the United States
- Experience working in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment
