Oracle DBA
- Monitor and maintain Oracle 19c databases in production and nonproduction environments
- Perform routine database administration activities including user management tablespace management exportimport and health checks
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and assist in optimization activities
- Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN
- Monitor Oracle Data Guard environments and resolve replication issues
- Support database patching upgrades and migration activities
- Analyze Oracle alert logs trace files and performance reports
- Resolve incidents service requests and production issues within defined SLAs
- Participate in root cause analysis RCA and problem management activities
Java Application Support
- Provide L2 support for JavaJ2EE applications running on WebLogic Tomcat or JBoss
- Monitor application availability performance and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot application startup deployment and connectivity issues
- Diagnose JDBC connection problems between applications and Oracle databases
- Analyze application and server logs to identify and resolve issues
- Support application deployments and release validation activities
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and escalations
- Perform basic codelevel analysis using logs and stack traces
- Operational Responsibilities
- Participate in 24x7 oncall and production support rotations
- Follow ITIL processes for Incident Problem Change and Service Request Management
- Create and maintain SOPs Knowledge Articles and operational documentation
- Support automation and scripting initiatives using Shell Python or SQL scripts
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements
