Working alongside experienced sales professionals, solution engineers, and partners, you will identify new business opportunities, renew active contracts, build relationships with customers, and position Oracle Linux as a strategic platform for modern IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and mission-critical applications.

What you will bring
- 1–3 years of experience in technology sales, business development, inside sales, or customer-facing roles (or equivalent internship experience).
- Interest in enterprise infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization, cloud, and open-source technologies.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to learn technical concepts and translate business value to customers.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to develop new skills and achieve sales goals.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively across sales, technical, marketing,
and partner organizations.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
What you will do
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners within your assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new Oracle Linux sales opportunities.
- Support the execution of territory and account plans in collaboration with senior sales representatives.
- Learn and communicate the value proposition of Oracle Linux, Oracle Linux Support, Oracle VM VirtualBox, KVM, and related infrastructure solutions.
- Work closely with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Hardware, Database, and Applications sales teams to identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline using Oracle sales tools and CRM.
- Meet quarterly pipeline generation and revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, solution engineering, and channel partners to generate demand.
- Stay informed about Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies, and the competitive landscape.
- Deliver customer presentations and participate in customer meetings with support from the broader Oracle team.
