Summary Description:

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for checking the final output of artwork files and data to ensure they have been created in accordance with the client requirements and printer specifications.

What you’ll be doing:

Final Quality Control Checks

- Ensures Right First Time quality performance is achieved.
- Checks artwork build and reprographics are in adherence with the business’ standard working practices, client’s brand rules and printer specifications.
- Works to schedule and communicates delays.
- Performs range checks.
- Collaborates with multiple functions to service the client.





Continuous Improvement

- Shares observations to optimise quality, delivery and profitability.
- Adopts best practice and continuous improvement actions.
- Participates in root cause and corrective action investigations.

Coaching & Development

- Guides and advises less experienced members of the team.
- Identifies and discusses issues with relevant team members.

Client Interaction

- Delivers customer demonstrations.

We’d love to hear from you if:

- Experience in packaging artwork production.
- Use of software applications used in the checking of artwork packaging such Illustrator Viewer, Esko Viewer, Global Vision etc.
- Understanding of print processes and reprographics.
- Ability to interpret and follow guideline documents.
- Communication skills particularly listening, verbal and written.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Team working skills.
- Time Management skills to respond to a dynamic work environment.
- Coaching skills.
- Decision making skills.
- Minimum of 1 years experience within the packaging artwork production industry.
