Job Summary

We’re seeking a demand Planner & Analyst to cover Aerospace & Industries (A&I;) in LA. The role is part of the Advanced Mobility under Diversified Industry LoB and focuses on brands such as MOLYKOTE®, Vespel® and Multibase™. The position involves 60% demand analysis and 40% demand planning responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Maintain master data and forecast models in OMP, generate and monitor sales forecast input files.
- Collaborate with demand planners in other regions to ensure master data accuracy within the OMP framework.
- Work with the Global OMP CI SME to resolve system‑related issues and upgrade needs.
- Prepare for and support the General Demand Review and pre‑meetings, including changes justification, risk assessment, and opportunity analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and validate forecast input with sales, marketing and production teams.
- Develop rolling 24‑month forecasts and align with stakeholders to secure buy‑in.
- Analyze actual performance and demand metrics to identify forecast error causes and bias.
- Drive corrective actions to reduce bias and improve forecast accuracy.
- Support demand and supply alignment within the execution horizon and communicate significant changes.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent planning system experience (e.g., APO, OMP, SAP).
- Preferred hands‑on OMP (or other demand tool) roll‑out or super‑user experience.
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning and S&OP;/IBP processes.
- Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to lead root‑cause investigations and resolve complex issues.
- Broad flexibility to work in a global, cross‑functional team.
- Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
- High willingness to learn new competencies and systems.
