A Day in Your Life at MKS:

This will be reporting to the Service and Repair Supervisor

Principal Responsibilities

•Perform basic inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment or products following standard procedures and work instructions.

•Complete preventative maintenance tasks, part replacements, and functional testing to ensure proper operation and product reliability.

•Accurately document repair activities, parts used, test results, and service outcomes in maintenance or repair tracking systems.

•Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work area and escalating complex issues to higher level technicians.

Required Skills

•Minimum of 1 year of related experience.

•Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude, with the ability to follow troubleshooting steps and perform simple diagnostics under supervision.

•Ability to read and understand work instructions, repair manuals, and standard operating procedures to perform routine repairs accurately.

•Strong attention to detail and documentation skills, including recording repair actions, parts used, and test results clearly and accurately.

•Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the willingness to ask questions, escalate issues, and work collaboratively with higher level technicians.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

•Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.

•Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level.

•Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [INSERT] lbs.
