Goal
Ensure production continuity and supply quality by promptly containing non-conforming material, effectively managing suppliers, and implementing corrective actions that protect assembly lines, minimize operational risks, and ensure cost recovery.Principal Activities
Containment & Emergency Response: Coordinate third-party sorting to isolate defective material and protect assembly lines from stoppages.
Supplier Interventions: Perform emergency supplier visits and audits to address non-conformities and review corrective actions on-site.
PPAP & Launch Governance: Review and approve PPAPs for new launches, engineering changes, and supplier relocations.
Corrective Action Management: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier non-conformities.
Material Disposition & Inventory Release: Manage blocked inventory, disposition non-conforming material, and release incoming material in SAP.
Financial Recovery (RMA & Debits): Process RMAs and chargebacks to recover supplier-related costs.
Supplier Performance Monitoring:
Track PPM, audit scores, and escalation status, and support low-performing suppliers.Education, experience, knowledge, and skills: Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience: 2+ years as a Quality Engineer or SQE in the automotive manufacturing sector (Tier 1 or OEM preferred).
Certifications (Preferred): VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification. IATF 16949 internal auditor certification.
Six Sigma Green
Belt / Black Belt.
