We are looking for a senior engineer to help us push the boundaries of AI in healthcare.

Primarily in-person in Mexico City or Monterrey | Full-time | THE ROLE

This is a highly hands-on position with meaningful ownership over ELO’s product, architecture, and engineering team, working directly with our Co-founders.

You will

Build and ship AI agents used by healthcare professionals

Own critical product and architecture decisions

Write code, review PRs, and improve engineering velocity

Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 engineers

Work directly with the founders on product and strategy WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience

Startup experience or a proven startup mentality





Experience leading at least 2–3 engineers

Demonstrable experience building and shipping AI agents

Strong ownership, execution speed, product intuition, and low ego Our current stack includes React, Ruby on Rails, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS. Ideal experience with microservices. The technology is adaptable. You will help determine how the stack evolves. This role is designed for an ambitious, hands-on builder. Profiles with 15+ years of experience looking for a primarily managerial position are unlikely to be a fit. COMPENSATION

Competitive compensation for an early-stage startup, based on experience and profile.

This role is based in Mexico City or Monterrey, working primarily in person with flexibility for occasional remote days.
