You will drive financial accuracy and operational excellence through remote accounting leadership.

What makes you a strong candidate:

- You are proficient in Month-end Close, Microsoft Excel, Journal entries, Internal control, Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- You have +2 years experience in Accounting.
- English - Conversational

Responsibilities and more:

Position Summary

- The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and assisting with month-end close and financial reporting.
- This is a fully remote position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.




- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
- Assist with financial reporting and audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (Sage 100 experience is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
