dormakaba is seeking a Strategic Buyer to work in a Hybrid Model. This role will report directly to the DVP General Procurement and work closely with the Regional Category Managers across the AMER region. The Strategic Buyer is responsible for supporting day-to-day procurement activities, tactical sourcing initiatives, spend analysis, supplier-related activities, and operational procurement processes across various indirect spending categories.

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Strategic Buyer to work in a Hybrid Model. This role will report directly to the DVP Global Procurement and work closely with the Regional Category Managers across the AMER region. The Strategic Buyer is responsible for supporting day-to-day procurement activities, tactical sourcing initiatives, spend analysis, supplier-related activities, and operational procurement processes across various indirect spending categories.

What You Will Do

- Support Regional Category Managers (USA and Canada) in daily procurement activities and tactical sourcing initiatives
- Execute tactical procurement activities in close collaboration with Regional Category Managers
- Support multiple indirect procurement categories, including but not limited to:
- Professional Services
- CAPEX
- Facilities
- Logistics
- Other indirect spend categories

Drive and support strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives for smaller to medium spend projects (up to approximately USD 100K)

Provide operational procurement support for regional business needs

Coordinate With Accounts Payable On Procurement-related Activities Including

- Invoice follow-up
- Purchase Order matching
- Resolution of payment-related issues

Perform Procurement-related Analysis Including

- Spend analysis
- Savings tracking and analysis
- KPI reporting
- Procurement performance monitoring

Consolidate and transform data into meaningful dashboards and regular management reports

Monitor and manage procurement KPIs,



identify gaps, and support improvement initiatives

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders

Support cross-functional initiatives and procurement projects

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement objectives are achieved

What We Require

- Experience in indirect procurement / strategic sourcing
- Experience within a manufacturing environment

Experience Supporting Multiple Procurement Categories Preferred

- Exposure to tactical and operational procurement processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and positive approach
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities
- Project management skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Team-oriented and people-focused mindset
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Spanish
